Where do I even begin?! Looking back, it feels like a month has gone by and in reality it has only been a week. Thankfully I’ve been keeping notes every day or chances are I would forget part of this week. Anyways, here’s a recap and some of the photos from the first part of the week (the rest of the week will be recapped tomorrow) –
Day 14 – Monday
In no other city would I say I enjoy taking the bus, but it has become part of my daily routine and something I actually enjoy here (maybe because they’re actually well kept). Monday consisted of class, then gym, then back to class and then a nice bus ride over to the O2 Academy in Islington. A venue I’d compare to TLA meets Irving Plaza, it was a nice contrast to the church we saw a concert at last week. On the bill for the night was Neon Trees opened by UK band Tides. (Review + Photos Here)
Day 15 – Tuesday
Tuesday’s are always my day of no classes so I spent the day reading, organizing, going to the gym and doing laundry.. Pretty simple.
Day 16 + 17 – Wednesday & Thursday
Wednesday consisted of the usual gym routine and then instead of regular class, we took a walking tour of London near Tower Bridge / London Bridge to end at Borough Market. The fruit stands, chocolatiers and more brought this place to life and it became a new favorite area of town! Thursday was pretty simple with the gym and class per usual.
More to come tomorrow!
