I am so thankful to have had an opportunity to visit Cuba over New Years. We explored Havana and then went to Varadero Beach for a few days and it was one of the coolest weeks of my life. The culture and history contained on that little island is unreal and my photos don’t do it justice. If you take one trip, this is the one to take. I also had so many photos that this week is ‘Cuba Week’ so expect two more posts.

A note on the food. For us we had places picked by our tour guide in advance but make sure you request paladares as they are cheaper and much better quality. The link explains some of the best and reasons why they are so great! The thing about paladares is that they change frequently.
