Q: Where did you come up with your sound?
A: First of All. I don’t think we’ve found “our” sound yet. Maybe we never will? I hope so. Music will be boring without searching. Our influence is everything between Dire Straits to Sonic Youth.
Q: How did everyone meet?
A: Back in the days we played in two different bands. We played concerts together. We used to book them ourselves in rooms/places that no one used. None of the Danish venues wanted to hire us. So we bought cheap beer, made our own posters, showing underground movies, playing our music and acted like crazy.
Q: What has been the best advice you have ever been given?
A: Someone told us once. You don’t have the looks, so you should focus on the music and cool covers.. I think the best advice was when our first manager told us to use the force of having two lead vocals and two songwriters. Just like the Beatles.
Q: Where do you get inspiration for songs?
A: Love, life, humans and animals.
Q: What is your favorite song by another artist? Why?
A: Hmmm… Right now. I’ve just finished the book “Walk the Line” by Vivian Cash, so I’m listening to a lot of music by Johnny Cash. My favorite song is “Folsom Prison Blues”. My All time favorite?? I can’t tell. There are soo many. Like I said before, anything from Dire Straits to Sonic Youth.
Q: Who would you most like to tour with?
A: We’ve toured with a lot of great bands, but it would have been fun being on the poster with Nirvana and Sonic Youth on their tour back in the 90’s.
